Plastics are in every part of our lives from the toys our children play with to the dishes we eat from. A woman's chance of developing breast cancer was 1/22 in the 1940's now it's risen to 1/7, only part of this can be explained through genetics alone. Everyday we are exposed to 1000's of chemicals many are in plastics, but personal hygiene products also have many chemicals that we slather onto our skin to make us feel beautiful, without considering the future implications to our health. Many of these chemicals deteriorate our health and imbalance our hormones (endocrine disruptors) these include BPAs, artificial fragrances, and preservatives to name a few. This video does a great job of explaining just how much chemical is a part of our daily lives and the devastating affects it has on our health. We really hope this information makes parents think twice before heating a plastic baby bottle in a microwave or slathering commercial sunscreen on your children.
